Staff working in corporate and client services roles are often referred to as the backbone of the organisation. Without these roles, the organisation would not be able to deliver the services we do, nor support our internal and external clients. Congratulations to everyone for the flexibility, support and customer focus you bring to the organisation.

Volunteers at DGCH are a key part of our workforce, and enable and support many of our programs and services. Staff who supervise volunteers and the clients that work with volunteers, highly regard and value their contribution. This Awards enables the broader organisation to recognise the work of all volunteers, and to highlight the achievements of some.

Peter Sullivan is a much loved and valued member of staff – and he left his mark with us all. Following Pete’s passing in September this year – and as the 2010 winner of this Award, it seemed only right that any Award that recognises and celebrates staff and their ability to build a positive culture – be named in his honour.
