The Dietitian provides information on foods suitable to help improve your medical condition, and increase your individual health and well-being.
You may be seen individually or in groups and the service includes education / information on issues related (but not restricted) to:

  • overweight;
  • underweight;
  • obesity;
  • diabetes;
  • high cholesterol;
  • healthy eating;
  • and heart disease.

Accessing a Dietitian

Dietetic services are accessible at all Doutta Galla Community Health sites. Appointments can be made with reception at each site.

How long do you have to wait before you can see a Dietitian?

This varies with each site. Usually clients seen within one month of referral.
