Intake point and process There are three ways clients are referred to the program: 1. Self referral 2. Internal referral 3. External referral
Cost For individuals accessing the Café Meals Program – clients pay $2.00 to access a meal to the value of $8.80 (which is subsidised by DGCHS).
A contribution may be requested for other activities arranged by the Dietitian e.g. cooking for one.
Service availability Dietetics Service operates on an outreach model and is based at: 15 – 19 Gracie Street, Nth Melbourne Monday, Thursday and Friday, 9am – 4.30pm.
Café Meals Program is accessible at four different Cafés across the Cities of Melbourne and Moonee Valley. Accessibility varies according to Café opening times, however Café Meals clients are able to access one meal a day – seven days a week.
