Employee Assistance Program
This Program (EAP) offers confidential short term counselling to staff and their immediate families to assist with any personal or work related issues (up to 3 sessions). DGCHS engages with an independent organisation to provide these services, and the counselling is provided by a qualified psychologist and can be provided either by telephone or face-to-face.
EAP is completely confidential and voluntary. It is provided as a resource for staff and members of their immediate family to assist with any issues that might be causing concern. The rationale is to provide professional help early before the issue develops into a more serious problem.
June 2010 - DGCHS is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from service providers qualified to provide support to our staff and their families. Please click here for a copy of the 'Provision of Service Brief'.
Applications for Expressions of Interest close Friday 2 July 2010. |
